"Alligator Steam Warping Tugs. A quartette of the special products of West, Peachey & Sons, photographed on River Lynn. The local firm is the only one in North America engaged in the manufacture of the steam 'Alligator.' The first one was built 27 years ago, and since that date the firm has turned out 188 'Alligators.'"
