student: Marjorie Austin Identified by W.B., Christie & friends Identity confirmed 14 Nov 2005 by Marion (Westcott) Dawley Identity confirmed 13 Mar 2007 by Marjorie's niece Sandra Hoag From Sandra: Marjorie Ruth, her brother Raymond Grant, and her sister Ilene Mae, were children of Harold Grant Austin and Alice Niobe Bowman. They lived on the Austin farm on the Woollen Mill Road, east of Simcoe, owned by Harold's parents, Frank and Jessie Austin. Marjorie, Grant and Ilene all attended Simcoe High. Marjorie worked at A&P in Simcoe before her marriage to Charles Columbus. They lived outside Jarvis all their married life. They had seven children: five girls and two boys. She lost one son to a car accident then her husband to cancer. Her brother died 15 Mar 2002. She is a very active, fun loving lady. |
