Lenora Mae Cooper was the youngest of three daughters of Winnifred and Leonard Cooper. Her sisters were Edna and Pearl. Mae met her high school sweetheart and future husband
(43-205) Jack Jasper at SHS. They married 10 Oct 1946. Jack  worked for Hydro and they were transferred to different cities as often as every 6 months for several years. Eventually they settled in the countryside north of Paris, Ontario. They had four children, Margaret, Nancy, Richard and Patricia. Jack died in 1963 in his 39th year, leaving Mae to bravely raise her young family alone. She never remarried. She used to tell us that she had the best when she had married our father. Mae worked for Ontario Hydro as a billing clerk until her retirement. She loved living in the country and was able to live in the family home until her death on 8 Sep 2004.
