or U.S. about 1782. He married Mary Slingerland (daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Slingerland). Mary
was born about 1790. Census of 1861 has them living in Walsingham
Township with their son Henry. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

born 1868 died 1958, farmer, director of Townsend Mutual Insurance, custodian and deacon
of Hartford Baptist Church and Cemetery. He was a son of Isaac B. Wilcox (1837–1884) and Elizabeth C.
Burke; he married Clementine Taylor and Caroline VanLoon. Children: Linnah Mae and Clarence Morley. Siblings: Austin G. (1864–1899), Emily
(born 1869), John H. (1880–1904). He was a grandson of John Wilcox (1798–1886) who was a farmer, and father of William L,
Edward S., M. Jane (Wilcox) Tufford, George A., Isaac B., John H., and Louis N. Wilcox.
Grandfather John Wilcox and his family moved to Townsend Township
(Hartford/Bealton) around 1840 from Beamsville area and he, and his sons farmed on Concession 3, 4, and 5, lots 22,23 & 24 until the late

Toledo, Ohio. He had three wives and eight children.
WILSON -- Seeking information
about the parents of James Charles Wilson, who was born 1834 in Middlesex
County, Upper Canada; and died 1913 in Wayne, Michigan. He married about 1855-1857 Mary (Polly)
Conat/Conant in Simcoe, Norfolk County. Their first child born 1858
in Michigan. Family returned to Ontsrio, about 1875 resided at Tillsonburg,
then back to US by 1885. Their children: Bertha, Sarah, James, Amy, Charles, Dan
& Eliz. WILSON

Wilson (born Mar 1855), son of Andrew Wilson and Mary Ann Gillespie, in the
Roman Catholic church in Simcoe. G. James and Eliza(beth)'s first son, Calvin, was born 1879. They are
in the 1891 census in Stephen Township, Middlesex County.
WILSON --
Richard Wilson and his wife Clarinda Smith appear on the 1901 census of
Houghton Township and are buried at King Lake Cemetery. Family lore says
his parents were Peter Wilson and Elizabeth Ward. I am seeking any
information on Richard's ancestry.
