MacDONALD -- Seeking the name of the wife of John McDonald (1798-1865) who in 1835 settled land on the southeast corner of Goshen Road and Mabee Side Road. He had four children: Mary, James, Miriam and Lucy. Seeking the name of his wife. We think it was either Phebe Wilson or Phebe McKay but have no records to substantiate. All help appreciated. McCALL -- Seeking information about Preserved McCall, father of three McCall
sisters who married three Farnham brothers. Eliza McCall married Daniel
Farnham on 25 November 1842 in Charlotteville Township, Norfolk County, as
his third wife.  Thirza/Theresa McCall married Daniel's younger brother, Harman
Farnham, on 23 Aug 1833. Charlotte McCall married youngest brother, John
W. Farnham, about 1842. Daniel remained in Norfolk County, Thirza and Harman
removed to Chautauqua County, NY, where Harman had been born. John and Charlotte probably married in Waukesha County, WI, where they lived the rest of
their lives. Preserved McCall's wife was Mary Mershon, whose line has been

McCLENTIC -- Seeking information about the family of John Alexander McClentic, born about 1815. He was a stonemason. In 1842 he married Huldah Mills of Simcoe. They lived in Townsend Township in 1851 and by 1861 they were living in Windham Township. They had at least 10 children: Robert Seela, James Henry, John Wesley, VanLoran Orlando, Elizabeth, Nancy, Hugh, Maria, Isabella and Margaret. They remained in Windham, Lot 20, Concession 12. John Alexander died in 1884 and Huldah died in 1910.

McCOOL -- Seeking information about Samuel Elijah McCool, born Mar 1858 in Windham Township, Norfolk County, son of  Joseph and Emma McCool. Samuel married Almira Ethel Curtis, 24 Dec 1877 in Norfolk County. He emigrated to Kalkaska, Michigan about 1880.

McDONALD
-- Margaret McDonald born 1 Jan 1888, daughter of George McDonald and his wife Sarah, was orphaned in 1892 then raised by her aunt Mrs. Fred Hayward. Margaret married a Mr. Harris and had two sons: Jay Garfield Harris born 30 Nov 1912 and Ian Harris born 24 Dec 1915, both in Ontario, presumably in Townsend. McKENZIE
-- Seeking information about my great-great-great-grandmother Amelia McKenzie and her birth family. She was born in Scotland but according to the census by 1861 was living with the Grace family in Norfolk County, when at the age of 24 she married the 55 year old widower next door, John Trusdale (aka Truesdale), despite being younger than the eldest of his five children by his first wife. John and Amelia had five children of their own: William Henry, Louisa, Orlando, Thomas Watson, and Mary Agnes. John, his first wife Margaret and Amelia are buried together in Greenwood Cemetery. Some sources identify Amelia's father as William, others say Kenneth. Which was it?

McNALLY -- Seeking information about Bernard Charles McNally (1794-1870), his wife Adelaide Demasse/Dumas (about 1800-1887) and their descendants. Charles and Adelaide  married in Quebec, then resided in Northumberland County before settiing in Woodhouse, where Bernard died in 1870. McNEILLY -- Seeking information about Samuel McNeilly and Elizabeth Carlisle who immigrated to Canada in 1847 from Fernisky, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. MITCHELL -- Seeking information about Erasmus Aeneas Mitchell (1826- ?). Looking for descendants of this son of  Norfolk pioneer Judge James Mitchell. Erasmus and his wife Mary had eight children. I believe they stayed in Norfolk.

MORGAN -- Seeking information about family of John Morgan and Jane Kingston. (She was born 22 Dec 1828 in Frontenac County, a daughter of Paul Kingston and Sarah Gay.) MUCKLE -- Seeking any information about loyalist known as John Muckle who subsequently settled in the area of Townsend Township, Norfolk County, and his son John. New! MURPHY -- Seeking information about Margaret (Maggie) Murphy (born about 1873) and her parents. She lived in Norfolk County (Langton, Walsingham, Woodhouse, Port Dover) until at least 1919. She married James T. Hagan around 1896 and had two sons: Melvin Thomas Hagan (born 1897) and Willie Arthur Hagan (born 1899). She is listed on the 1919 Norfolk County Voter's List, but I cannot find any marriage records or census info.
