was born 11 May 1831 in Port Dover, Norfolk County. Charles married Mary
Ann Smith of Windham Township, Norfolk County 24 Nov 1856 at
Forestville, Charlotteville Township, Norfolk County. They had six
children. Charles died 16 Jun 1912 in Clinton, Huron County, Ontario.

Joseph Nelson Broughton (1867-1940 in Norfolk County) and
his wife Bertha A. Beecraft (died 23 Aug 1928 in
Norfolk County). I think Joseph and Bertha were buried in Walsh United Cemetery (no
stone survives).
Also seeking information about Joseph's son William Broughton, born 1 Feb
1898 in Windham Township. William was an Evangelist/Methodist. He
married Laura J. Lalonde (1924-1955) in Ottawa. He lived on Windham Street, Simcoe in the
1930s. He left his family and rumor has it he went to Alberta. I would like to find his final
resting place to complete this family history.

-- Seeking information about Holden Brown (1811 - ) and his wife Elizabeth Kennedy (1821 - ) who
appear on the 1851 census living in Charlotteville Township. It's believed that they were married 28 Aug 1843 at St. John's Anglican. Would like information on their parents/siblings and when they died.
Their children were living with William and Eliza Cope on the 1861 census
of Charlotteville Township, so I'm assuming Holden and Elizabeth died
between 1856-1861. Would also like info on what happened to their four youngest children.
