An unedited transcription of a photo caption from 10 Mar 1936 Simcoe Reformer.

Twenty-two of Norfolk County's 26 living ex-wardens are shown in the above picture as they gathered here on Tuesday to attended the Norfolk County Council meeting and a banquet held in the evening. There present are as follows:

Front row (left to right) -- Alex Cowan, North Walsingham, 1906; George Walker, Houghton, 1908; J. E. Butler, Charlotteville, 1910; Ed. Moon, Port Dover, 1911; Henry Wallace, Middleton, 1912; George Hammond, Woodhouse, 1915; Dr. O. H. Duncombe, Waterford, 1919.

Second row -- A. O. Sandham, Middleton, 1922; Fred Woolley, Windham, 1923; Dr. A. C. Burt, Simcoe, 1924; William Roney, Charlotteville, 1925; Geo. B. McKim, North Walsingham, 1926; Roy Misner, Woodhouse, 1927; Colonel J. W. Townsend, South Walsingham, 1928; C. D. Renner, Townsend, 1929.

Third row -- L. A. Maguire, Houghton, 1930; J. Harry Misner, Port Dover, 1931; C. H. Ferris, Port Rowan, 1932; J. H. Bowden, Simcoe, 1933; Gordon G. Kent, Delhi, 1934; E. J. Dertinger, Windham, 1935;  Wm. S. Collings, North Walsingham, 1936.

The four living ex-wardens who are not in the above picture are: L. L. Sovereign, Waterford, 1889-90; Dent Dalton, Delhi, 1900 (now residing in Alberta); C. S. Killmaster, Pt. Rowan, 1907; Joseph Cridland, South Walsingham, 1917 (at present in Florida).
