WILLIAMS SETTLEMENT
Golden Wedding
Mr. and Mrs.
John Ashford celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding on
Saturday, the 13th inst. Neighbors and relatives gathered at their
home in South Walsingham, where the interesting event took place.
Among the guests were four who were present when Mr. and Mrs. Ashford
were married: Mrs. Charles Ashford, Mr. James Beatty, Mr. John
Corr and Mr. James H. Corr, the bride's two brothers.

Mr. and Mrs. Ashford have lived nearly all their lives here, having
cleared up the farm which they now occupy.
